So this is week two of my Hartford Marathon training program, after not competing or doing much of anything for 3 years, I now have a new goal, to run Harford faster than i have run any marathon to date, and in the process qualify for the Boston Marathon. No big deal right? Unless your me and you have been battling a nagging calf injury since your 13.1 mile walk to the Lake Placid Iron Man finish line wrapped like a baked potato in the pouring rain. Accomplishing this goal is not a done deal, finishing the race is still a question mark, but thats what fires me up, the mystery of accomplishing the unkown.
Not feeling like writing anymore today, had a great workout, 30 minute speed workout at one of my favorite running areas. Here is a link to check out what I did today..CLICK HERE TO SEE
