Good news, I felt great from start to finish, first time zero pain in 3 years. PHEW, what a relief. It was crazy how slow I went, but what I’m excited about is my heart stayed steady in the 135-140 range. Building my fat buring furnace. Now I can build and build it and the pace will slowly come down over the coming months.
Couldn’t be happier with today, tomorrow a little recovery 3 miler. Still on my quest to lose 10 pounds as I belive its critical to me qualifying for Boston. Loving tracking my workouts and food consumption with training peaks. Thinking of riding Saturday 4o miles of hills with some friends and then doing my 6 mile run….will see. Here is a link to my stats from today, notice the pace is really slow, but I did climb over 1000 feet in elevation, and the footing at times was slick. CLICK HERE FOR WORKOUT STATS.
